Chamber hosting Congressman Gary Palmer

CHELSEA— Congressman Gary Palmer will join several chambers of commerce Feb. 18 for an "Eggs and Issues" breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the new community center in Chelsea, 11101 County Road.

Palmer will provide an update on events in Washington.

Palmer, who was elected to represent Alabama's 6th congressional district in November 2014, serves as a member of the oversight and government reform, budget and space, science and technology congressional committees as the representative for Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina on the Republican policy committee.

The breakfast event is co-hosted by the Calera, Greater Shelby County, Montevallo and South Shelby chambers of commerce.

Eggs and Issues is $15 per person for chamber investors and $25 for future investors and which includes a continental breakfast. ShelbyOne investors with the Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce receive one complimentary registration.
