Rep. Gary Palmer holds town hall in Vestavia Hills

Tonight, Alabama voters in the sixth district got a chance to meet their Congressman.

Gary Palmer made a stop in Vestavia Hills tonight. Palmer is hosting a series of town hall meetings within his district. These meetings allowed the public to ask questions, and get Palmer's opinions on issues facing America.

Among the topics discussed, the Iran nuclear deal, tax and regulatory reform and repealing Obamacare.

Palmer says he wants the public to be informed about what's going on in Washington.

"I think it's critical for me to let people know what I'm doing. But also, what they can do to help. The better informed the people are, the better Congress behaves," Palmer said.

Palmer will conclude his town hall visits with a stop at Alabaster city hall tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m.
