Palmer Signs Letter Requesting Information on “Side Deal” with Iran
For Immediate Release
Washington D.C. - Congressman Gary Palmer (R-AL), signed a letter along with 93 other members of Congress, sent to President Barack Obama, requesting the text of the "side deals" made between the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Iranian Government as part of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), otherwise known as the "Iran Deal."
"Voting on this agreement may be one of the most important votes Congress makes in a generation," Palmer said. "Congress has a legal right to these side agreements, and to have all of its questions about this agreement answered before it comes up for a vote."
