Palmer Sworn In For Second Term in U.S. House
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Gary Palmer (R-AL) released the following statement shortly after taking the oath of office and being sworn in for his second term representing Alabama's Sixth Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives:
"It was a great privilege to stand on the House floor for the second time pledging to support and defend the Constitution," said Palmer. "I look forward to serving the great people of Alabama's Sixth District in the 115th Congress and bringing our conservative values to Washington, D.C. I believe we can accomplish a lot over the next two years and I am eager to get back to work."
Congressman Palmer represents Jefferson, Shelby, Chilton, Coosa, Blount and Bibb counties.
