Palmer Withholds Support From Spending Bill

Washington, DC – Congressman Gary Palmer (R-AL) released the following statement on the passage of H.J. Res. 31, the Consolidated Appropriations Act:

"I cannot in good conscience support a bill that increases spending in areas unrelated to our national security when thousands and thousands of Americans are dying from drugs that are coming across our Southern border, and other Americans are suffering injuries and death at the hands of people who came here illegally."
