Gary Palmer is still moving into his new office in Washington, D.C. The freshman Congressman is already running between three committee assignments.

But, he's used to a busy schedule: he founded the Alabama Policy Institute (API) more than 25 years ago. API has been allied with CitizenLink since it began.

He says his run for office began with a heartfelt prayer and a little direction from his wife.
