WASHINGTON — Congressman Gary Palmer, in a Science, Space, and Technology committee meeting Tuesday afternoon, slammed the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its controversial proposed ozone regulations, which to be implemented he said would require the use of technology that does not even exist.

Over 80,000 people from across the country, including 2 Presidents and 98 members of the US Congress, were in Selma over the weekend to honor those brave souls who made the march from Selma to Montgomery 50 years ago. Presidents George W. Bush and Barack H. Obama were there along with their First Ladies, Laura and Michelle.

Gary Palmer is still moving into his new office in Washington, D.C. The freshman Congressman is already running between three committee assignments.
But, he's used to a busy schedule: he founded the Alabama Policy Institute (API) more than 25 years ago. API has been allied with CitizenLink since it began.
He says his run for office began with a heartfelt prayer and a little direction from his wife.
