U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) thinks the strong victory by former President Donald Trump in the Presidential election was a rebuke to the radical left in America.
Trump won the electoral college and popular vote on Tuesday, while his party also regained control of the Senate.
Palmer discussed the election results Friday on WVNN’s “The Yaffee Program.”

U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) believes too many of his Democratic colleagues are more focused on hurting former President Donald Trump than they are about handling real national security threats.
During a Congressional Oversight and Accountability Hearing about China on Wednesday, Palmer started his time by implying that some of the Democratic members in the hearing were too focused on Trump instead of Chinese Communist Party.

Count U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) among those who disapprove of the 34-count guilty verdict rendered in a Manhattan court against former President Donald Trump last week.
During an appearance on Birmingham's News Radio 105.5 WERC's "Alabama's Morning News," the sixth congressional district representative argued the fix was in against Trump, adding the verdict was a "really dark day" for the judicial system.
On Thursday afternoon, a New York jury convicted Donald Trump on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, making him the first former U.S. president ever to be found guilty of a crime.
The conviction was handed down in a Manhattan courtroom, where Trump had been on trial since April 15. After more than nine hours of deliberation, the jury reached its unanimous verdict on Thursday.
U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer recently criticized the Biden administration for showing indecision in support of Israel. He said Israel’s effort to eliminate Hamas in Gaza is justified.
“When President Biden shows indecision and weakness to our enemies around the world, our friends suffer,” said Palmer (R-Hoover). “The attacks against Israel by the Hamas terrorist group and the slaughter of Israeli citizens justifies Israel’s determination to eliminate Hamas in Gaza.”

“Well, I think it’s possibly anti-Semitism, but it’s also anti-Americanism,” Palmer said on “Alabama Morning News with JT.”

U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) is praising the passage of legislation he cosponsored that in effect excludes illegal immigrants from the U.S. Census.
The U.S. House of Representatives approved the “The Equal Representation Act,” which adds a citizenship question to the census. “It’s simple- only U.S. citizens should be counted when deciding congressional representation,” Palmer said.
