Palmer hosts military service academy info night in Homewood

Those interested in applying to one of the five military service academies are encouraged to attend an informational session at the Homewood library's auditorium Monday hosted by U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer, R-Hoover.

The meeting is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 21, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The library is located at 1721 Oxmoor Rd. in Homewood.

"This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the educational and career opportunities offered by the five United States Service Academies (Army, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines)," Palmer's office said. "Attendees will hear from representatives of each academy as well as Congressman Gary Palmer."
