As I write this, we are 10 days into the Schumer Shutdown. When asked about the government shutdown during an interview with Punchbowl News last week, Senate Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer said, “Every day gets better for us.” 

I doubt most Americans would agree.

Alabama's Republican congressional delegation is lauding the agreement between Israel and Hamas to end the war in Gaza.

Israel began it's war against the terrorists in Gaza after over 1,200 people brutally killed by Hamas in Israel on October 7th, 2023.

"I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first Phase of our Peace Plan," Trump said on Truth Social Wednesday.

On Wednesday, U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) led a subcommittee hearing on ending illegal robocalls and robotexts.

"Some are merely annoying, but others have devastating consequences," Palmer said during the hearing. He said some robocalls were legal and allowed people to unsubscribe from the caller's list, but the calls he is concerned about come from scammers, who have conned people out of millions of dollars.

Mohamed Sabry Soliman, an Egyptian illegal immigrant, is facing federal hate crime charges after he allegedly used a flamethrower and Molotov cocktails to set a group of Jewish people on fire, one of them being a Holocaust survivor.
