WASHINGTON – The two IRS whistleblowers who alleged the Justice Department meddled in an investigation into President Biden's son, Hunter Biden, were not convincing, Democrats told Fox News. 

"I believe that they believe themselves. Whether they're right or wrong, really is in their mind and the determination of other people," Rep. Kweisi Mfume said. "I happen to believe that they're wasting time on this."

U.S. Reps. Mike Rogers (R-Saks) and Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) are continuing to show their support for Taiwan after visiting the island last week.

Rogers, who chairs the House Armed Services Committee, led a congressional delegation to Hawaii, Guam, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Japan.

According to a statement by the delegation shortly after the trip, the focus of the visit was the threat posed to the Indo-Pacific by the Chinese Communist Party.

U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer thinks President Joe Biden is putting America’s national security in danger with his push for more renewable energy.

During a House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing Thursday, a top Environmental Protection Agency official tasked with guiding the Biden administration’s emissions regulation policies, Joseph Goffman, testified to lawmakers.

Goffman is the Principal Deputy Assistant Administrator for the Office of Air and Radiation.

The Republican majority in the U.S. House of Representatives passed Speaker McCarthy’s debt ceiling bill by two votes Wednesday, 217-215.

Every member of the state’s Republican congressional delegation voted in favor of the “Limit, Save, and Grow Act of 2023,” which would raise the debt ceiling while also cut future spending.

U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Saks) presided over the House floor when the legislation passed.

Alabama Republican Rep. Gary Palmer called out a TikTok lobbyist and executive during Thursday’s hearing as he grilled the platform’s CEO.

CEO Shou Zi Chew testified before the House Energy and Commerce Committee amid pressure for TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, to sell the platform. As Palmer questioned Chew, he called out TikTok executive Michael Beckerman for dodging questions about China’s ongoing genocide against Uyghur Muslims.
