Dear Friend,

Thank you for subscribing to my newsletter. This past weekend we thanked and remembered the brave men and women of the Armed Forces for their service and sacrifice. The Sixth District of Alabama has not been untouched by the perils of war. We have lost neighbors, friends and loved ones in defense of America's freedom. Below I remember the life of one of our communities own, Marine Lance Corporal Thomas Rivers, Jr.
