The words of Winston Churchill should encourage us as we continue to address the challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a nation, I know we have the courage, conviction, and ability to mitigate the spread of this virus and to ultimately persevere until we have a vaccine. With news that a vaccine might be close and with the evidence that therapeutic treatments are having great impact, we have good reason to be optimistic that the pandemic will soon be abated.
