Gary Palmer made a stop in Vestavia Hills tonight. Palmer is hosting a series of town hall meetings within his district. These meetings allowed the public to ask questions, and get Palmer's opinions on issues facing America.

Palmer to host town hall Friday in Coosa County

U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer, R-Hoover, is holding a town hall meeting at 4 p.m. Friday at the Coosa County Courthouse in Rockford.

The Rockford appearance is one of several by the freshman congressman in Coosa County on Friday.

The visit comes a day after Palmer was one of 94 congressman to sign a letter urging the president to release details of so-called "side deals" with Iran on the agreement with Tehran on its nuclear program.

This bill, introduced by Rep. Dave Brat (R-VA), would not allow the Administration to lift sanctions on Iran unless the Senate gives its consent under Article II Section 2 of the Constitution, which requires a two-thirds vote in the upper chamber.
