Oak Mountain Student Wins 2019 Congressional Art Competition
Birmingham, AL – Congressman Gary Palmer (AL-06) announced Nylah Bluiett, a student at Oak Mountain High School, as the winner of the Sixth District's 2019 Congressional Art Competition.
The Democrats have been in charge of the House of Representatives for over 100 days now, and all they have been able to do is show the American people how extreme and incompetent they really are on the issues facing our nation. Not only have they obstructed our efforts to fund border security, their actions have made the crisis at the border worse. Even though the vast majority of Americans object to infanticide, the Democrat House leadership refuses to allow a vote to come to the floor on a bill outlawing the killing of babies born alive after botched abortions.

Palmer Stands for Healthcare Choice for Seniors
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Gary Palmer (R-AL) recently reintroduced the Retirement Freedom Act (H.R. 2108), which would allow senior citizens to opt out of Medicare without losing their Social Security benefits. Companion legislation was introduced by Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT).
