Palmer to Vote Against Divisive Democrat Resolution
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Gary Palmer (R-AL) announced today that he will vote against H.Res. 489, a resolution that was drafted to condemn comments made by President Trump on Twitter.
Recently, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez callously compared detention centers at the U.S. southern border to the concentration camps of the Holocaust. Amidst deserved criticism, Ocasio-Cortez not only refused to apologize, but doubled down on her comments. Meanwhile, Democrats continue to ignore anti-Semitism in their own ranks and for many weeks refused to pass legislation to help to the legitimate humanitarian crisis at the southern border.

Palmer Introduces PLANE Act to Strengthen Immigration Enforcement
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Gary Palmer (R-AL) has introduced the PLANE Act, the Prohibiting Local Airports from Neglecting Enforcement Act (H.R. 2955). This legislation would withhold federal grants from airports that violate grant agreements, including refusal to cooperate with government entities, such as Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE).
